The DB Pirates are pleased to re-sign Club Blazers, a brand synonymous with prestige and tradition for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons. As part of this exciting partnership, players who feature in seven matches for the team in a single season will be awarded a bespoke blazer, a symbol of their commitment, skill, and contribution to the team’s legacy.

This tradition not only celebrates individual achievement but also strengthens the bond between players and the club’s storied history. The presentation of the blazer is a significant milestone for any 1st XV player. To qualify, players must demonstrate consistency and dedication by participating in at least seven competitive matches in a season, whether as a starter or substitute.

This threshold ensures that the blazer is earned through meaningful contributions on the pitch, reflecting resilience, teamwork, and loyalty to the DB Pirates. The blazer itself, meticulously crafted by Club Blazers, is tailored to embody the club’s colors and crest, serving as a tangible emblem of pride and belonging and a cherished keepsake.

The presentation ceremony, held annually in the beginning of the season at post match drinks, is a moment of celebration for the entire squad. Players are called forward to receive their blazers in front of teammates, coaches, and supporters, with their contributions to the season highlighted.
