The Piratas, part of the DB Pirates, are a dynamic all-women’s touch rugby team for domestic helpers living and working in and around Discovery Bay.

Competing in a Hong Kong-wide women’s touch rugby league, they face off against other clubs with similar programs.

The team trains all year round on Friday evenings from 8:30pm at the North Plaza Pitch. Sunday training is sometimes scheduled through summer months again at North Plaza pitch.

Supported by the club and our generous sponsors, this initiative empowers these vital members of our community by offering the benefits of team sports and a supportive environment, fostering fitness, camaraderie, and a strong social network among players.
