A great introduction to the exciting game of netball
Learn great netball skills here.
Nettas are Under 8 and Under 10 teams
A great way to learn
Netball is a great introduction to team sport because players need to stay in the correct third of the court for their position, which encourages kids to spread out and get into space. The game is also designed for every player to get the ball rather than one or two stars dominating the game, which helps players new to the sport build confidence and understand team work.
Training and Games
Nettas training is on Thursday afternoons. (NOTE: During COVID restrictions this has been moved to Saturdays until further notice - see training schedule panel on this page) During the season (October to March) they play in 3 – 4 competitive tournaments on Saturday afternoons (Autumn term) or Sunday mornings (Spring term) at Discovery College.
All coaches, team managers, and support staff are volunteers and we always welcome more help!
