Our Mini Rugby teams offer developmental skills for ages 5 - 12
Start playing rugby here.
Mini rugby is a program catering for both boys and girls of any skill level or sporting background. No previous experience is required as Rugby is about having fun, keeping fit and socialising with other kids. We cater for the competitive and experienced players as well.
Mini Rugby runs the following mixed age groups: U5/U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11 & U12. We welcome kids into minis who are older than 4 and under 12. We have dedicated girls-only teams as well.
We train on Sunday mornings and play in a number of tournaments throughout the year. We also hold additional training sessions for the older kids on Fridays and Saturdays.
Coaching and getting involved
Mini rugby is for the adults too, not just as spectators, but as active participants and coaches. DB Pirates is a not-for-profit sporting organisation run by volunteers and we welcome anyone wanting to join our coaching or club support teams. Like the children, no experience is required, but enthusiasm is essential!
The season is usually wrapped up with an Awards and Fun Day, with the players who have contributed most awarded for their efforts.
Your go-to place for everything you need for coaching and development.
