The Piratas, supported by the DB Pirates  Club and some generous sponsors creates an  opportunity for sports-loving women who currently work as domestic helpers in and around Discovery Bay to get together, play some sport and be part of a valuable social group.

Training

Currently the Piratas train each Sunday throughout the season Sept - May at Discovery College  pitch, with additional informal training/matchplay/social on Sundays over Summer on Tai Pak beach.

Lat year the Piratas participated in two tournaments with the other helpers teams from Hong Kong, as well as competing in January’s Discovery Bay International Girls Rugby and Netball Beach Festival
