DB Pirates has grown over the past 16 years to become one of Hong Kong's most successful Rugby clubs, producing premiership teams and a breeding ground of future champions.
Offering three active sections for players aged 7 - 70, the DB Pirates Netball teams participate in weekly competitions all over Hong Kong, as well as skilled training, tournaments and friendly social events.
Want to try Dragon Boating? Come join our friendly mixed team and see what it's all about! No experience needed. Open to those aged 18 and older. Train with us as we prepare for the 2023 dragon boat season and take part in competitive races around Hong Kong.
DB Pirates' Mini Hockey is available to girls and boys, from ages 5 to 14 We have energetic and enthusiastic young players and great coaches all ready to teach skills and learn match play. We're hoping to form a Seniors team too this year.

Congratulations to all 19 of our newly qualified parent coaches that braved the heat on Sunday the 22nd of August and successfully completed the World Rugby L1 course. As the Head of Rugby, I was honoured to be able to run and deliver the course to our community. And I was proud to see the level of professionalism and commitment that our coaches brought to the course. I wish the newly qualified coaches all the best for the upcoming season and look forward to seeing them put into practice the skills they’ve learnt. Read more hereA long and bumpy season for our stoic dragon boat cohort finally found joy last Sunday, winning first place in our first race of the season as a newly combined team with Lantau Boat Club at the 2021 Kellet Island Cup. The combined team, named the LBC Pirates, drew on experienced ladies, mens and mixed team members from both clubs. The women’s team stormed home to win on the day, with much (socially distanced) celebrating afterwards and big cup to prove it! Read more hereHong Kong Scottish RFC is running a number of rugby camps this summer for U6 up to U18 age groups (boys and girls) as part of the Hong Kong Rugby Union’s summer of rugby! Get coached by international coaches and players, including Craig Hammond, Peter Jericevich and Mark Coebergh. All camps will run from 10:00 – 12:00 at either YMCA School Pitches, Tung Chung or King’s Park, Kowloon. Age bands: U6 – U12 = anyone born between 2009-2016 U13 – U18 = anyone born between 2004-2008 (Age groups will be split during the camp). Registration is now open with limited spaces available!
