The Hong Kong China men’s team will take on the Japan XV side (Japan’s national A team) at Kai Tak Main Stadium on Friday 24 October at 7:00pm.

Transport

The DB Pirates will be putting on a return bus leaving the Bounty in the North Plaza at 5:00pm* and leaving the stadium at 9:15pm*. Seats will be sold at $50* a seat return on a first come first served basis.

About the match

The match will be the first appearance for a Hong Kong China XVs team at the Main Stadium, Hong Kong’s world-class venue that became the new home of the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens in March.

This is also the first match to be played in Hong Kong since the team’s historic qualification for the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia – secured with victory in this summer’s Asia Rugby Men’s Championship. This will be a special moment for players and coaching staff, and a great opportunity for fans to celebrate the World Cup qualification in style.
