NETBALL
Pirates Netball offers players of all ages & skills a chance to join teams, play games, and have fun!

Make friends, keep fit, play netball.
We know that sport builds confidence, and the more confident girls are now, the more successful they can be later in life. Netball is an exciting, fast paced ball sport which is very sociable and great for fitness. Played by around 20 million people in 80 countries around the world, it’s popular for a reason: it’s great fun!
Our 3 sections cater to different age groups:
Nettas
For our young new players aged 6 -10 yrs.
Nettas is netball with modified rules (smaller court & ball, and much lower hoop) designed for U10s. Both girls and boys aged 6 to 10 years can sign up.
Junior League
For girls under 18.
Junior netballers are aged from 10 to 18 years and play the same rules (and have the same height of hoop) as ladies netball.
Fostering and encouraging sports participation can result in positive self-esteem and aid in developing an adolescent’s confidenceWe have U12, U14, U16, and U18 teams.
Ladies League
For ladies over 18
(no upper age limit!).
Weekly training and games, as well as plenty of social fun!
We accommodate all levels of netball within the club, from highly competitive to those with a more social emphasis. There are several teams across divisions 1 (competitive) to 7 (social).
Kit
Registration fees provide for a Pirates top and skort, which are mandatory for league games. Trainers need to be non-marking (not black soles).
