Make friends, keep fit, play netball.

We know that sport builds confidence, and the more confident girls are now, the more successful they can be later in life. Netball is an exciting, fast paced ball sport which is very sociable and great for fitness. Played by around 20 million people in 80 countries around the world, it’s popular for a reason: it’s great fun!

Our 3 sections cater to different age groups:

Nettas
For our young new players aged 6 -10 yrs.

Nettas is netball with modified rules (smaller court & ball, and much lower hoop) designed for U10s. Both girls and boys aged 6 to 10 years can sign up.

Junior League
For girls under 18.

Junior netballers are aged from 10 to 18 years and play the same rules (and have the same height of hoop) as ladies netball.

Fostering and encouraging sports participation can result in positive self-esteem and aid in developing an adolescent’s confidence. We have U12, U14, U16, and U18 teams.

Ladies League
For ladies over 18
(no upper age limit!).

Weekly training and games, as well as plenty of social fun!
We accommodate all levels of netball within the club, from highly competitive to those with a more social emphasis. There are several teams across divisions 1 (competitive) to 7 (social).

Kit

This season we are excited to offer a dress as an option alongside the usual top and skort. In order to allow maximum flexibility to our members, the kit is to be ordered individually during the registration process. Returning players are welcome to reuse last season’s skort but do need to order the new top or a dress. This allows everyone to play in the kit which they are most comfortable with, whilst still maintaining the team look. Don't forget if ordering a dress, you'll need a pair of black knicks or your own black bike shorts.

Costs

All registration, kit ordering and payment can now be done in one handy online process. Registration fees cover the costs of coaching, HKNA fees, training sessions, court hire, first aid, and equipment.

Other costs not included in the registration fees are:

  • umpiring fees – Ladies League
  • transport costs to and from game venues
  • overseas tours
  • other club events

Along with the scheduled games, Junior and Ladies League players often participate in a number of other events during the year, including overseas tours and the fast paced, and sandy Beachfest with Netball fast 5s!
